Bearded Dragon Art: A Creative Journey with Emily Schepers
Introduction
Hey there, fellow bearded dragon lovers and art enthusiasts! My name is Emily Schepers, and I’m excited to share my creative journey with you. As a homeschooler, I have the freedom to explore my passions and hobbies while also learning about the world around me. One of my biggest passions is art, and I love incorporating my love for bearded dragons into my work, bearded dragon art. In this blog post, I’ll take you on a journey through some of my favorite artistic creations inspired by these amazing creatures. Let’s dive in!
This page is a work in progress. I will update this page soon with some personal art, so come back and check regularly.
Artistic Inspiration from My Bearded Dragon Gilbert
As a proud bearded dragon mom, Gilbert has become an inspiration for my artwork. Whether it’s his unique coloration or his quirky personality, I’m constantly finding ways to incorporate elements of him into my pieces. One of my favorite pieces is a watercolor painting I did of Gilbert basking on a rock, his scales and spikes brilliantly illuminated by the sunlight. It captures his regal beauty and peacefulness, and it reminds me of the importance of taking time to slow down and soak up the warmth of life.

Another piece I created was a clay sculpture of Gilbert, capturing his quirky personality and mischievous grin. I loved the challenge of working with clay and bringing Gilbert to life in a three-dimensional form. It’s now displayed on my desk, reminding me to keep a sense of humor and playfulness in all aspects of life.

Homeschooling and Artistic Opportunities
As a homeschooler, I have the opportunity to incorporate art into my academic studies and explore different mediums and techniques. I’ve taken classes in watercolor, acrylics, and even digital art, learning new skills and techniques that I can use to express my love for bearded dragons and other passions. One of my favorite projects was a mixed media piece I created inspired by Gilbert’s love for crickets. I used watercolor, ink, and collage to create a vibrant and dynamic piece that captures the excitement and energy of a bearded dragon’s feeding frenzy.

Combining Art and Bearded Dragon Education
As a bearded dragon enthusiast, I’m always learning more about these amazing creatures and sharing my knowledge with others. I’ve found that art can be a powerful tool for education and advocacy, as it can capture people’s attention and spark curiosity. I love creating pieces that showcase the unique behaviors and characteristics of bearded dragons, from their head-bobbing displays to their adorable sleeping positions.
Conclusion
I hope you’ve enjoyed this creative journey with me and gained some inspiration for your own artistic pursuits. Whether it’s through watercolor, sculpture, or comics, art is a powerful way to express our love for bearded dragons and share their unique beauty and charm with the world. Let’s continue to explore and create together!
